Not only is there a Pisces Full Moon, it’s a total eclipse, which amplifies the full moon immensely, and on top of that Saturn just retrograded into Pisces. We are entering the realms of dream and dreaming. Your nightly adventures may be more vivid, expansive and busy. Be sure to allow yourself the grace and flexibility in your schedule to rest or take a break when you need to. There’s not much forcing allowed in this liminal space. But the kind of activities that will be encouraged are writing, visualizing, meditating, playing music, and creating art. All things in the Piscean realm.
It’s often encouraged to not set intentions or force action during eclipse portals. It’s important to stay grounded as much will be shedding and revealing itself. This will allow more spaciousness in our lives to receive the ‘dreams’ that want to manifest. Allow yourself to think outside the box, and listen to what’s coming up in your dreams and meditations. They are leading your way, like a moon-lit path. The fog will clear and treasures revealed.

Yes, you heard that right. We just had a Virgo New moon at 0 degrees on August 23rd, 2025 and it opened up this portal, and we’re closing it out at another NewMoon in Virgo at critical degree no less. 0 is about beginnings and 29 brings us to completion. This is a major indicator that things are destined to shake up, loosen and shift during this time. Even if it is not so apparent in the physical, you’ll definitely feel it energetically, emotionally or mentally.
Remember to embrace the journey, and notice where tension and resistance arises and look to your guides and the Divine to aid you in releasing whatever conditioned patterns and mental restrictions that may still entangle you in old thought loops and old stories.
Pisces is the last sign in the zodiacal wheel for a reason. It is the final evolution of consciousness. The symbol, with two fishes circling one another harkens the image of yin and yang, which represent cosmic harmony.
When we are in cosmic harmony, there is no resistance, no sides, no rigid structures or belief systems. Use this as your key and guide during this time. Get clear, let go, and receive.
Final note on reading your horoscope: I like to use Equal House calculations but horoscopes often line up best with Whole Sign Houses. Many people use the default Placidus system when drawing up their chart. This may also not line up with your rising sign when it comes to transits (aka full and new moon horoscopes, and other planetary transits). —If you want, you can read for your rising sign, or you can pull up your chart and find WHERE (what house) the full moon will be in your chart.
For example, I am a 22' degree Capricorn Rising. Since it's a fairly late degree, most of the time the Aquarius horoscopes line up better for me, because transits are occurring in later houses. I'll try not to make this more confusing but I want you to know your options and help you be open minded during this process and read wherever you feel called to.
I do recommend finding what house the planet (moon in this case) will be in and read according to that house (regardless of your rising sign).
