Uranus in Krittika (2025) (Tropical: Uranus moves into Gemini)

Uranus is currently moving through the nakshatra Krittika (in sidereal Taurus)—a cutting, clarifying fire ruled by Agni, the god of purification. Krittika exposes what’s inauthentic. It burns away what no longer belongs. In Taurus, this energy is stirring up everything we associate with material value, safety, security, and self-worth.

Where have we measured our value by output?
Where have we equated love with usefulness?
Where have we performed importance just to feel valid?

At the same time, Uranus is moving into tropical Gemini—activating mental loops and inherited belief systems that are outdated and self-defeating.

The patterns that kept us “safe” no longer serve. And they’re being interrupted, sometimes gently, often not.

This moment is asking for honesty. For acknowledgement, not by “healing” or “solving” it or placing a salve upon it, but truly, truly honoring it.

Seeing it.

Even, and more likely—grieving it.

I picked up another Tom Robbins book from the local book shop yesterday and come across this passage that mirrored what was wracked in my brain for the past few days, if not week, or years…

“...the mockingbird collects snatches of birdsong from this tree and that field, appropriates them, places them in new unexpected contexts, recreates the world from the world. For example, a mockingbird in South Carolina was heard to blend the songs of thirty-two different kinds of birds into a ten-minute performance, a virtuoso display that
served no practical purpose, falling, therefore, into the realm of pure art.”

That last part.

Pure art serves no purpose. It is simply art.

What if we’re like that too?
What if you didn’t need to justify your existence with meaning, impact, or originality?

What if you could create simply because it feels good?

What if you could live without grading yourself against some internal rubric?

We don’t have to be something or someone special to live a great life and still bring value.

Joy is our purpose.

Bad things happen because we push pain either away or deeper, which isn’t possible. We must feel it or else — or else it comes out in other ways or eats away the essence of our soul, of life itself.

When we truly release the burden of responsibility upon ourselves and others, we are free.

Free to be.

To love.

To be at peace.

And release the need to preach, and just enjoy.

Be honest.

Be real.

Be all of us, just as we are.

And it’s OKAY.

It’s all okay.

It’s perfect, just as you are.
