I Am The One

I am the one.

I guide myself back to love.

I’m the one that falls

and rises up again.

I am the one.

I create, I comfort, I consummate.

I state, I love, I elevate.

I rest, I hold, I open.

Thank you divine within, 

for showing me I’ve always 

had what I needed, to begin

again with love.

Arising in the flame that lives

inside and throughout all

that is,

to witness and to be.

I am the one.

I am all that ever was.

Thank you for reminding me.

A spiritual essence to behold,

an eternal furnace that warms

the home I choose.

This is it.

I am the one.

I choose you forever

and ever will be.

That which beauty I can see

so authentically.

So says the seer,

I am the one.

I am the beginning, middle and end.

I am the one whose heart beats

and keeps the rhythm 

this body moves to and flows.

The dance starts now.

Move with me,

moving with you.

My love is the energy that

makes it true.

Don’t let go.

Come on, let’s sow

the seeds that bloom

the night’s singing hour.

An eternal flower,

a rain from heaven,

a cleanse for the reaping

of your soul.

A prayer’s answer

that you’ve given.

I receive.

I believe.

I relieve.

Thank you beloved.

I am the one.

The depth of you

I’ve searched for more

but come back to

here--there’s something.

A steeping of mind-body

feeling.

A truth that’s uncovering

like a thousand-petal lotus 

creation unfolding.

I am the one.

I trust the Earth

and the Sun.

To nourish what I have

to add up and sum,

I give my life to thee--yes.

Back to me, 

back to me.

Look inside, what do you see?

A fulfilling moment 

into the next.

Grace,

tenderness

and humility.

A lesson, a text.

A ready student,

I resurrect.

I am the one

believing, knowing.

Loving and loving.

Together, apart.

No matter where you are,

I am resting in the heart.
